First Bridal Show

I survived my first bridal show!  It was an awesome experience, just getting my work out there and talking with all of the brides.  I remember 8-9 years back planning my wedding and attending shows looking for vendors and getting ideas.  I could so relate to all of the thoughts and options that were spinning through these girls' heads.

I know that I made the right decision when I decided to start doing weddings.  There is so much love, emotion, romance that comes with a wedding.  Not only on the wedding day, but also during all of the planning.  Seeing all of the brides come through with ear to ear grins when they tell you their wedding date made me so happy to know that I will be able to help them capture all of their hard work and planning on their special day.

I'm also grateful that my head cold I started to come down with on Friday night somehow held off until I got home yesterday.  So after a long week of preparations, I'm going to take some time for myself.  I'll be laying on the couch with my box of tissue catching up on some junk tv.

Crazy! In a good way...

Whoops!   I accidentally published before I had a chance to post.  That just goes to show you how I've been moving lately.  Things have been crazy busy over here as I just found out I'm going to attend my first bridal show!  As a vendor!  So needless to say I've been spending my time holed up in my studio getting ready.  But I think I've got it all set now and am so excited to get out there and get this ball rolling!  If any one has any advice from either a bride's or a vendor's perspective, I'd love to hear your comments!

Happy New Year!

I know it's been quite a while since I've posted anything, the holidays for us are always crazy busy and then lucky me I started the new year off with a heck of a cold.  So it's put me a little behind in everything.  

A few days after Christmas I shot another wedding with Kevin of Murawski Studios.  It's been amazing working with him.  He's really taught me so much and has been a great mentor.  I'm looking forward to continuing to shoot with him.  There's another wedding coming up this Saturday!
