Fathers and Daughters

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to capture amazing little girls as they spent the evening dancing with their fathers.  It was so fun watching these little beauties giggle with each other and dance with the most important man in their lives.

The Sinelli Family

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday.  We hosted dinner for my family, it was amazing how we fit 16 people for dinner in our house!  Scott cooked an awesome turkey and throughout the day can you believe that I didn't take a single picture?  I'm a little bummed out about that, but also enjoyed living in the moment with my family.

I haven't had much time to sit down at the computer, things have been a little hectic with having family in town, the holidays and the loss of my grandmother.  Needless to say I'm a little behind...

My latest family session was of the Sinelli's.  What a fun family!  I had so much fun playing with all of the kids and chatting with Tarra afterwards.  Thank you guys for a great time, I hope you like the pictures!

Isn't she beautiful?

An artist in the making...

This little one just cracks me up!

A fun family pic!

After we got all group shots out of the way, it was time to play!

The Strickland's

I don't know where to start talking about this session. I had the pleasure of spending the entire day with this adorable little boy CJ and his mom Jessica, who happens to be a very old friend of mine. CJ was quite a helper with the leaves while we did William's session. What a great cousin!
Of course he wanted his pictures with the pumpkins too!

When Jada came home from school she couldn't wait to get in on the action. She's quite the little ham! I just love the feeling to this picture!

They have this great tree in the yard that the kids had a ton of fun climbing and posing in.

A quick tickle session with mom!

Off to play some more!

A little fun family time! CJ is every bit of a ham too.

What a beautiful family!

We were even able to capture a quick moment with just mom and dad.

Corey and Jessica, thank you for the wonderful day/afternoon/evening! It was so nice hanging out with you guys and catching up! Can't wait to get together again soon.

William

I'd like to introduce to you this adorable little cutie William! Isn't he just the cutest? I've known his mom for the majority of my life now. She was always like an Aunt to me growing up. It was so good to see her and spend time with her awesome little boy! We spent a beautiful fall morning just playing outside in the leaves, so much fun... Guess I wore him out pretty good too! The daycare said he went straight to his cot the moment he walked in the door.

Just look at those eyes...

I absolutely love this one!

Phew!

Wow, it's been a long week but it looks like everything is up and running smoothly.  I'm really excited about the new look of my website and blog.  It was a great experience to have created and launched the new site on a deadline.  My old one was set to expire last Friday, so I literally had 3 days to get everything completed.  And I did,  but because of that I had to put a lot of other items on hold.

So last Friday after it went live, we decided to spend the beautiful day at Yates Cider Mill.  The weather was perfect and I had this complete sense of relaxation as we strolled through the trail munching on fresh donuts and drinking delicious "Apple Jacks"!

Now it's time to play catch up on processing sessions, e-mails that I had to put aside.  for those that are waiting, I promise to get to you by the end of the week!

The Zlatevski's

Danny & Anita have been a big part of our lives for over a decade. You don’t realize how long you’ve been friends with someone and then one day you’re talking in decades! So many memories from the past 10+ years... From his purple camero, hanging out at Baskin Robbins, staying at his house for a week while in between dwellings to the annual ski trips and they’re beautiful little girl! It’s amazing when I look at her how much of each of her parents makes up this little girl. I’m so grateful to have friends like them in my life... Thank you Danny & Anita for the awesome time hanging out and playing at the park and the wonderful dinner and cocktails afterwards!

The Noble's

I did quite a few sessions at the Rochester Hills Municipal Park recently and here’s another one. I met Laura while working for Ford, definitely one of the best things that came out of my brief stint with the company! She is quite the supermom taking care of all of her boys and keeping up with their football, soccer, boy scout and school schedules. I am honored to have been able to do a little something for her with some family portraits! Thankfully it was a beautiful morning and they had a free couple of hours before the afternoon soccer games!
